2018 NBDCC ~ OOAK Live Auction Donation

Convention is over and I’m starting to catch up on rest so posting my final contribution … after going to Venice in May, I was inspired by Atelier Antonia Sautter, an Italian designer of period costumes.  Window shopping all the wonderful designers from Chanel to Prada in Venice, we came across a fabulous display of her work which changed my thought process for my live auction doll.  Here are a few photos of the final result, with proceeds going to UMOM of Phoenix, AZ.

2018 IDC Donation …

I’m pleased to share my version of “Sailor Moon Serenity Princess”! She is now on eBay, 100% for the benefit of Dynamo Camp.

This OOAK Silkstone Barbie Doll has had a complete facial repaint with professional quality Golden acrylics, mani/pedi and restyled hair.

Her removable gown is cut from shimmering organza and swirling lace. It has been hand-beaded with approximately 2000 Swarovski crystals and as many micro sequins.  The gown has an underskirt of micro-pleated chiffon as well as the signature bow of the same.

She comes with her OOAK wand, crescent moon display stand (glows in the dark) and Certificate of Authenticity.

Outlander fans … I finally completed Claire’s Red Dress in 1:6 scale!

No, I’ve not watched Outlander, however, at the request of a friend, I agreed to create “the dress” in 1:6 scale.  What was I thinking?  Thankfully, there are many lovely photos online of all sides of the dress so I ordered silk fabric … it arrived and I didn’t like the shade, so I ordered a different silk … it arrived, and I didn’t think it was “right” either but finally, (3rd time’s the charm) I received a very vivid red.   Making the pattern and testing only took seven versions of the bodice … LOL!   So, after ten days … here’s my version of Claire’s red dress in 1:6 scale.
